Steps to Sign Out of an iPhone, Remove Apple id, and Reset the Device using iOS

Sign Out of iCloud:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select “Sign Out.”
  4. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted.
  5. Choose the data you want to keep on your device or delete from iCloud and tap “Sign Out.”

Remove iCloud Account from iTunes & App Store:

  1. Go back to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap “iTunes & App Store.”
  3. Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  4. Select “Sign Out.”

Factory Reset the Device:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap “General.”
  3. Scroll down and select “Reset.”
  4. Choose “Erase All Content and Settings.”
  5. If prompted, enter your passcode.
  6.  Confirm your decision by selecting “Erase iPhone.”
